Behavioral Support Specialist - Nisonger Center

Behavioral Support Specialist to provide behavior support services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the Nisonger Center; performs functional behavior assessments and analysis; trains family members and staff at community agencies in data collection and implementation of strategies; works with school, residential, day program staff and families to develop behavior support strategies; presents strategies for approval to appropriate review committees and revises as necessary; prepares billing statements; documents individual progress and prepares reports.    

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work or related field. Certification and/or licensure in psychology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation, applied behavior analysis or related field is required or can be obtained within 1-2 years from date of hire. 3-5+ years of relevant experience required. Experience conducting functional behavior analysis and intervention.
