Position Summary
Clinical Research Assistant assists with the daily administrative activities of the Clinical Trials Processing Laboratory (CTPL).
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4:30PM
Responsibilities
Assists with scheduling monitor visits
Responds to data inquiries from Clinical Research Coordinators, sponsors, and receiving labs
Provide Clinical Research Coordinators with needed documentation
Inventory monitoring of daily kit supplies, place resupply orders, receive supply shipments and maintain supply room organization
Maintains outlook calendar for patient appointments and assists with tube delivery to clinics in advance of patient visits and pickup of specimens after collection
Follow-up on daily patient status
Other duties assigned by management; including answering CTPL requests by email and phone, generating reports for management and leadership, train students on administrative tasks, and special projects
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education & experience required; experience in a clinical research and/or research capacity or setting desired; computer skills required with experience utilizing Microsoft software applications desired. Must be able to effectively communicate face to face and in writing with clinical staff and outside collaborators.
