Scope of Position: 
Imaging provides invasive, non invasive and therapeutic procedures for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. Treats inpatient and outpatient populations through the process of creating visual representations of the interior of a body for clinical analysis and medical intervention.

Position Summary:
The Lead 3D Technologist position performs all duties of the Three Dimensional Imaging Technologist in addition to coordinating daily workflow, daily assignments, patient flow, and provides support to the operations of the department. The lead provides all quality assessment activities for the imaging site in addition to the maintenance of accreditation preparedness for the site. The lead will provide assistance in assessing technologists’ performance for annual merit increases as well as orient new staff to the department.  The lead may cover additional Imaging Supervisor/Manager responsibilities as necessary in the Supervisor/Managers’ absence or should a vacancy occur.
Three Dimensional Imaging techs perform image post-processing on imaging exams used in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient within the Imaging department utilizing X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, etc. Renders a three-dimensional image on a two-dimensional surface by creating an optical illusion of depth. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:
For Hire: Associate's Degree in relevant field of study required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Nuclear Medicine certified, Ohio Department of Health Radiology License and Certification in at least one advanced modality (Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography, Nuclear Med, Sonography). 0 years of relevant experience required. Minimum 2 years’ experience in modality over which the employee is a lead. 
Ongoing: Maintains registry & licensing status; meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements.  Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
