Scope of Position 

The Director of Product Management is a high-level executive who oversees all aspects of product development within WMC. They work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that product development aligns with business strategy and meets customer needs. This role involves formulating product strategies, managing product development teams, and ensuring the successful launch of new products.

Position Summary   

Director Product Manager determines and oversee delivery of the strategy and roadmap for their products to achieve business outcomes and financial objectives. Their responsibilities include coordinating with IT, business, and financial stakeholders to set priorities, managing new development and operations, and providing direction and oversight to product teams.

Minimum Qualifications

For Hire:        

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of product management with a focus in healthcare required.
  • Experience increasing revenue through strategic feature additions.
  • Proficient in selecting and leading strategic vendor relationships or acting as the primary point of contact for strategic partnerships.
  • Proficient in communicating, building influence and developing relationships with functional and technical leaders across all levels in the organization.
  • Proficient in utilizing deep market and industry knowledge to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Strategic thinking with clear understanding of market dynamics.
  • Product Manager certifications (e.g. SAFe Agile Product Manager Certification, AIPMM’s Agile Certified Product Manager) a plus.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.

We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient Director of Automation to lead the design, development, and deployment of intelligent automation solutions across the organization. This role goes beyond traditional product management, requiring deep expertise in automation technologies, cross-functional leadership, and a strong understanding of enterprise systems and AI integration.

Technical Background

  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or Java.
  • Experience with data engineering, MLOps, and building scalable AI infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as RPA (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, including supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision, and generative models.
  • Familiarity with tools and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and cloud-based ML platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP

Automation Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and drive the automation roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Identify high-impact automation opportunities across departments.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of RPA, AI, and workflow automation tools.
  • Technology & Architecture Oversight
    • Oversee the architecture and scalability of automation platforms.
    • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure secure and efficient integration.
    • Stay current with emerging technologies in AI, RPA, and intelligent automation.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Establish KPIs and successful metrics for automation initiatives.
    • Drive continuous improvement through the process of optimization and innovation.
    • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Team & Stakeholder Management
    • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of automation engineers, analysts, and product managers.
    • Partner with business units to understand needs and deliver tailored automation solutions.
