Patient access

Our patient access teams work hard in the registration and coordination of patient care from the time they walk in. Often, our patient access teams are the first people a patient sees when they enter the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center or outpatient locations. They are a tight-knit team working toward a constantly positive patient experience. They assist with physician appointment scheduling, OR/admission, full service scheduling, pre-registration and registration, insurance verification, and patient liability determination and communication. Patient access coordinators strive to make every experience positive.
