Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Pathology to pursue specialized laboratory-based translational research on cancer immunology.

We use techniques such as spatial biology, single-cell RNAseq Multiplex, etc and animal (mice) models such as humanized mice, PDX models and other models simulating patients.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and conducts research on cancer immunology; designs, conducts, and collects and analyzes research data

  • Participates in journal clubs, laboratory meetings, and Center activities; assists with training of graduate students

  • Writes research papers for publication; presents research findings at local, national, or international scientific meetings; assists with writing and submitting grant proposals to obtain extramural funding in support of research

  • Assists with training of graduate students; participates in journal clubs and laboratory meetings

Job Requirements

A highly motivated fresh Ph.D. or 1-2 year post-Ph.D. experience with publications in respected journals. Experience in multicolor flow cytometry, including analysis of the results, molecular techniques for immunological studies and mouse experiments, and orthotopic tumor implantation. Experience in Bioinformatics is desirable.
