The Senior Project Manager will provide administrative and technical support for various GRC administrative data projects. Position responsibilities include: leading the development and implementation of project management protocols and a formalized project management structure across a related portfolio of Medicaid data projects; coordinating the research and administrative efforts of project team members, including teams of statistical programmers and data scientists; drafting and revising technical documents, including detailed clinical quality measure specifications, data linkage manuals, data processing protocols and workflow diagrams; coordinating technical research activities such as code reviews and scheduled updates to production code; performing data analysis tasks as needed; contributing to technical assistance requests, including reports, data analyses, and consultation on new clinical quality measure development; managing and tracking communications and meetings, including email correspondence among team members and with project sponsors, internal team meetings and meetings with external partners; tracking project progress and drafting monthly progress reports for sponsors; and project development, including grant and proposal writing (additional details included in “Responsibilities (Duties)” section below).
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of four years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or two years of relevant experience with a master's degree is required. Successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Experience working with technical, data-oriented project teams. Experience with clinical quality metrics such as National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Healthcare Effectiveness Information and Data Set (HEDIS) measures is preferred. Experience working with health-related state agencies is preferred. Experience supporting teams working with large relational databases is preferred; Experience supporting teams performing statistical programming tasks in SAS or R is preferred.
