Job Summary: The RN-PCC coordinates the patient care team in providing and documenting patient care in accordance with applicable standards of practice; applies nursing process to all areas of practice; manages and provides health care and education to patients and their families during hospitalization; assesses, implements, coordinates, delegates and evaluates nursing care of patients; prioritizes patient care needs and provides care accordingly; performs specialized nursing care procedures as outlined in department/unit-specific competency profiles; coordinates patient encounters, admissions, transfers and discharges; provides leadership to, and development of, patient care team; identifies opportunities for improvement in patient care and organizational processes; participates in performance improvement activities; participates in medical and nursing research activities. 

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing required; current licensure or interim permit in the practice of registered nursing from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing required.
