Sterile Technician
- Responsible for cleaning, inspecting, assembling, sorting and sterilizing surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Health care or sterile processing experience is preferred but not required.
- Full training is provided.
- Ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and process-driven.
Instrumentation Coordinator
In addition to preparing and coordinating sterile instruments, the Instrument Coordinator:
- Serves as clinical liaison to surgical and patient care teams
- Tracks and allocates instrumentation
- Helps standardize related procedures across the medical center
- Ensures operational readiness for surgical cases

- Our offsite Central Sterile Supply location is on Kenny Road, just off 315 near The Ohio State University campus. This 62,000-square-foot facility – the first freestanding surgical supply facility in Ohio – can support the care of more than 48,000 surgical patients per year.
- Various surgery locations at our hospitals and outpatient care facilities, including our new University Hospital, the Ross Heart Hospital, the Eye and Ear Institute, Jameson Crane Sports Medicine, the OSUCCC – James Outpatient Care, Outpatient Care Dublin, East Hospital and Outpatient Care New Albany.
