Acute Care Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients in accordance with the laws and rules that govern the practice of physical therapy in the state of Ohio. Although team members report directly to a team leader, they are also responsible to each other, to those they supervise (and to other participants included in the patient care activities.

Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited school or equivalent combination of education or experience. Currently licensed in the state of Ohio as a Physical Therapist. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Required Qualifications
All rehabilitation team members must be licensed or certified with the respective profession (physical therapy) and meet the educational and/or certification requirements established by their professions; physical therapists must hold bachelor's degrees. All academic degrees must have been granted from an accredited institution in a medical setting is preferred for all professionals hired.

Populations for this position will include but not limited to Neurovascular, neurosurgery, orthopedic spine, general surgery, general medicine and neurocritical care.

Position schedule will include a weekend component.
