Scope of Position 

Position acts as an administrative assistant supporting the musculoskeletal (MSK) program, a priority focus area within the Wexner Medical Center’s 2035 Strategic Plan.  The MSK program is a multi-disciplinary effort that encompasses providers from the following clinical backgrounds: Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Emergency Medicine and Neurology. 

Position Summary

Administrative Assistant who provides comprehensive administrative support to 8 faculty members, 4 are faculty leaders within the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, and anticipates their professional needs in relationship to their responsibilities; effectively anticipates support needs and efficiently prioritizes duties; proactively manages faculty members and leaders calendars and scheduling of meetings; arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for travel-related meetings as needed, and processes required forms; prepares travel using approved travel vendors, financial requests using Workday; provides support for professional societies: national, regional and local; maintains a complete and up to date CV for faculty members and leaders; tracks use of continued medicinal education funds; assists with reappointment and license renewals; maintains confidential information for each faculty member/leaders.  In addition, provides travel and financial Workday support for 3 advanced practice providers.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
