Scope of Position

The team provides patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patients involvement in his/her own plan of care and reducing the length of hospitalization, The staff nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement , the patient experience, quality and safety, and cost effective care. 

Position Summary


The Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model. This position would be primarily scrubbing for cases at all of our ambulatory locations, as well as East (inpatient and ambulatory). Service lines of focus, but not limited to: Sports Medicine (primarily shoulders, foot & ankle), Hands, ENT, and Plastics. No weekends, holidays, or call. 

Minimum Education Required

  • 2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing. Current Ohio licensure or interim permit. Previous surgical center experience preferred.
