Job Description Summary  

To provide assistance in support of clinical research studies being done within the College of Medicine (COM) Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Immunology and Rheumatology in partnership with the COM Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM); assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs behavioral or diagnostic testing; assists with collection maintenance & reporting of clinical research data.

Minimum Education Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Health Sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience required.

Experience Required

0 years of relevant experience required.

Preferred Experience

2-4 years of relevant experience preferred. Experience in research capacity desired; knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired; experience in phlebotomy may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired; computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired.

This position is located at Outpatient Care East; however, some travel to main campus or other outpatient locations may be required. Other locations within the Columbus metropolitan area are Dublin, New Albany, Powell, Grandview.
