Job Description
Under the general direction of the Moms2B Associate Manager and Director, the Inventory Control and Analysis Senior Coordinator will directly supervise the execution of a coordinated lean supply support system that operates efficiently by providing Procurement, Receiving, Inventory Control and Supply Management for the Moms2B Program within Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Supervises the daily transactions of Distribution and Logistics operations by managing the order, receipt, storage and distribution of supplies, donations and correspondence. Maintains processes and workflows to ensure accurate and timely delivery of supplies. Maintains positive relationships with vendors, donors, providers, staff, and other internal and external departments. Acts as the frontline problem solver and is considered a technical expert regarding supply chain operations and logistics.
The Inventory Control and Analysis Senior Coordinator will use skills to complete all steps for Procurement, Receiving, Inventory Control and Supply Management, and will be the point on contact to manage the large number of donations received and distributed for the OSU Moms2B program. They will also implement new trial and items on the fly received, will ensure supply assurance, and will stay up to date on recall management for OSU Moms2B program. The position will support the evaluation of substitution management, and sourcing projects to help reduce the programs overall supply chain expenses.
The Inventory Control and Analysis Senior Coordinator will use logistics management and will administer the supply and material flow, and storage of inventory for the Moms2B program. Ensure timely and accurate flow of inbound/outbound shipments. Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy as well as track and fix shipping errors. Safely and efficiently move and handle items and assist with inventory records/receipts across the program checking for correct quantity and type of materials. Record any damaged goods and assist in quality control.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant experience.
