James Outpatient Occupational Therapist

Team members are licensed or certified professional occupational therapists who work within the oncology team structure to offer outpatient rehabilitation services. These services are offered at outpatient service sites to patients who have oncology related rehabilitation needs. Services would be provided at The James Outpatient Care Center 4th floor Rehab Clinic. The rehabilitation team member reports to the Rehab Services Manager as part of the overall James Ambulatory Services structure.

Each occupational therapy team member is first a part of a group effort to provide care with a continuous performance improvement environment, and secondly a distinct professional who provides specific contributions to the team approach. Team members assess patients and establish together plans of care; provide a wide variety of treatment techniques; provide education and support to families; and facilitate continuing care planning. Team members evaluate quality of services and participate in outcome management activities. A team member embraces the Intensive Caring values of the organization and uses them to guide interactions with others.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Ohio. 0 years of relevant experience required. Typically, 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Maintains professional licensure; demonstrates commitment to continuing education; meets mandatory education and health requirements; demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal and cognitive skills requires to meet essential job functions.
