We are seeking a Postdoc with strong bioinformatics / Statistical Genetics skills to join us. Our mission is to advance the understanding of the genetic architecture of complex human diseases and traits and to improve our ability to predict disease, target disease prevention in high-risk individuals, and tailor treatment based on individual genomic differences. The research specialist will work on large-scale genetic data analysis, risk prediction, single-cell RNAseq, and implementation of methods for studying complex human diseases, such as glaucoma and retinal diseases. The candidate will have the opportunity to take the lead on research projects, write manuscripts, and present the research results at international conferences.

Minimum Education Required

Ph.D. and experience in bioinformatics / Statistical Genetics or closely related program.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics, statistical genetics, biostatistics, or a closely aligned quantitative area. Candidate is expected to have strong data analytic and programming skills in Python and/or R, as well as proficiency in Unix/Linux system.
