Scope of Position The Ohio State University is committed to enhancing the quality of care provided to patients.  The Quality Program Analyst will collect clinical data for use in reporting of outcomes so that optimal quality can be achieved, including oversight of processes related to establishment, education and validation.  The Analyst will ensure accurate performance can be captured and benchmarked in order to identify areas of strength as well as opportunities for improvement.  The Quality Program Analyst works closely with Physicians, Case Managers, Nursing and the Senior Quality Manager to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement and other special improvement projects. The Quality Program Analyst works closely with this team to implement changes, monitor and communicate progress, and provide subsequent quality reporting to Leadership. The Analyst will also be responsible for monitoring proposed and mandatory changes to the data collection or reporting process.

Position Summary

The primary role of Quality Program Analyst is to manage the Clinical Registry, which is used to evaluate clinical care processes and outcomes as a means to improve patient care delivery. This is accomplished through high-quality clinical screening, data compilation, documentation and entry into the database of all eligible patients for the medical center.  

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in health related specialty or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
