Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Research Administration within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. This position is the first point of contact for the building, will greet research participants and assist them with navigation; anticipates administrative and professional needs in relationship to their responsibilities; performs a variety of complex and confidential administrative support duties; effectively anticipates support needs and efficiently prioritizes duties; acts as first contact for all inquiries for Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Research Administration; researches, collects and summarizes data and information requested by department and administration to aid in decision making and strategic planning processes; proactively manages calendars and scheduling of meetings; performs backup support in the absence of C4N administrative coordinator; assists in day-to-day phone coverage as needed.  Assist in communication and coordination in safety activities and procedures under the direction of the Building Coordinator. Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma; 1 year of experience in customer service; 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office, computers to generate a variety of materials ranging from basic to complex. Ability to remain flexible and reprioritize tasks as needed.

With or without reasonable accommodation, the candidate must be able to push/pull carts containing office supplies and/or supplies needed for study visits, bend/stretch/twist to pick up supplies, retrieve records or maintain office appearance, stand and walk for periods of time serving and assisting customers; and perform computer work for long periods of time while maintaining focus.

This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check and drug and alcohol screening.
