The Rathmell Laboratory, situated within the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center (OSUCCC) is devoted to understanding the key drivers of tumorigenesis. Using primarily kidney cancers as models for cancer molecular mechanisms, the laboratory seeks to identify molecular factors governing transformation, tumor behavior, and metastasis. We explore cell intrinsic and cell extrinsic components, with a major area of focus on metabolic regulators of tumor cells, immune cells, and the microenvironment. We use molecular and genetic approaches, metabolomics, and immune profiling of tumor models and human samples.
We're looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Research Technician at OSUCCC. Your role will be pivotal in several significant research projects in cancer immunology and immunotherapy. You'll collaborate closely with the lab staff so strong organizational and communication skills are crucial. Adaptability to new technologies and a fast-paced work environment is a must. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to major research papers and participate in national and international conferences.
