Job Description

The Senior Control Tower Specialist is a key operational role requiring cross-functional knowledge and alignment across sourcing, procurement, inventory management, value analysis/supply assurance, distribution logistics, and data analytics. In alignment with critical stakeholders, this role will be largely self-directed to develop and execute large scope, complex projects which center around highly coordinated efforts to proactively manage inventory, anticipate disruptions, and ensure seamless availability of critical medical supplies.  This role applies deep industry knowledge, understanding of key concepts, and application of technical expertise leads projects and strategies surrounding inventory balancing, resolving critical supply/process disruptions, developing strategic key performance indicators (KPIs), and facilitating communication between supply chain, clinical, and operational teams.

This position serves as a centralized coordination hub, integrating market and environmental sensing with strategic planning, tactical execution, and robust stakeholder collaboration, spanning clinical, operational, and supply chain teams, to proactively manage inventory, anticipate disruptions, and ensure seamless availability of critical medical supplies. The Senior Control Tower Specialist will champion proactive strategies that reduce risk, prevent stockouts, optimize costs, and build a resilient, sustainable supply chain aligned with patient-centered care goals. This leader will empower staff, strengthen vendor partnerships, enhance patient care readiness, and ultimately drive continuous improvement and long-term organizational success by fostering an environment of transparency, ownership, and data-driven decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field and 4 years of experience in supply chain operations, inventory management, or healthcare logistics.
