Clinical faculty (regardless of rank) - faculty positions within the university that are not tenure track and not eligible for tenure; on a fixed term contract. Persons with the title of professor-clinical, associate professor-clinical, assistant professor-clinical and instructor-clinical. Duties and responsibilities are assigned in accordance with the workload guidelines laid out in the pattern of administration of each faculty department and, as appropriate, regional campus; Clinical faculty are teacher/practitioners and will be engaged primarily in teaching activities. These faculty normally have earned doctorate or other terminal degree in the relevant field or equivalent experience.
Medicine: Assistant Professor Clinical in The Ohio State University, Department of Neurology, Columbus, Ohio.
Duties: serve as Assistant Professor (Clinical) in The Ohio State University, Department of Neurology, Columbus, Ohio. Clinical and didactic teaching in neurology; contribute to research related to Movement Disorders, Parkinson’s Disease and related topics; provide patient care in neurology with a focus on Movement Disorders and Parkinson’s Disease; service to Department, including participation in medical meetings, and Grand Rounds. Job duties may require travel between various Ohio State University Medical Center facilities in Franklin County, Ohio. (All are Ohio State University facilities, not third-party sites, in Franklin County, Ohio).
Requirements: M.D. or D.O. (foreign equivalents acceptable); Ohio Medical License or eligible for licensure in Ohio; completion of residency in Neurology (foreign residency acceptable); completion of fellowship in movement disorders or related discipline.
