Clinical Research Assistant 2

To provide assistance in support of clinical research studies for the Department of Neurology/Division of Cognitive Neurology with oversight from the College of Medicine (COM) Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM); assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs behavioral or diagnostic testing; assists with collection maintenance & reporting of clinical research data.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience.

Required Experience

No relevant experience is required.

Preferred Experience

2-4 years of relevant experience working in a research capacity is preferred;

knowledge or experience in cognitive medicine and cognitive testing may be desired; experience in phlebotomy may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired; computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired.

This is a patient facing position and is required to be onsite.

Travel may be required to other outpatient locations affiliated with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Locations are within the Columbus metropolitan area and include Dublin, New Albany, Powell, Outpatient Care East, East Hospital.
