The Education Specialist will coordinate and assist with all aspects of the Department of Urology and medical student training program as directed by the Medical Student Program Director, the Graduate Medical Education manager and Department Administrator. The Education Specialist coordinates and monitors medical student activities, assists with program logistics, plans and supervises scheduling of events; participates in establishing policies and implementation; monitors deadlines and requirements; oversees and ensures compliance with educational requirements and regulations; develops, determines and coordinates rotation schedules; oversees and maintains medical compliance files and faculty continuing medical education credit files; assist with site review; attends program manager meetings; functions as a resource for medical students; manages faculty teaching evaluations; distributes, collects, summarizes and maintains evaluations; presents data to program manager; develops survey and polls former medical students on training satisfaction; verifies program completion for past medical students; supervises coordination of department orientation program for new medical students; assures new students receive hospital orientation.

Performs other duties as assigned to support the goals and objectives of the department

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
