The Float Procedural Imaging division encompasses stationary IR equipment located in University Hospital, James Cancer Hospital and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations.
The Float Procedural Imaging Technologist performs invasive angiographic/cardiovascular/interventional imaging procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager. The Float Procedural Imaging Technologist works a variable schedule and will work weekends, holidays, and on-call on an as needed basis. This position will be responsible to provide coverage to any procedural location within imaging on an as needed basis. The Float Procedural Imaging Technologist is required to maintain proficiency in all core competencies and procedures performed at each location.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Certification and Ohio Department of Health Radiology License. Must obtain ACLS certification in addition to BLS/RQI certification prior to orientation completion. Advanced Certification in Angiography, Interventional or Vascular preferred. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
