Scope/Summary:

Post-Doctoral Researcher to pursue specialized research training, education and experience under the guidance of a scientific mentor.  Submission of grant applications and subsequent planning, design and execution of clinical trials are the primary activities of this position.  Additionally, collection and analysis of data for research sponsored by the National Institute of Health (NIH), as well as by other agencies and assistance with ongoing clinical projects as needed. This position will identify and select problems to be studied and design research studies to address these problems. The post-doctoral researcher will attend research seminars; contribute to manuscript preparation and support technical writing; participates in preparation of grant applications for extramural funding. 

Minimum Qualifications:

A Doctoral degree in appropriate discipline is required.  Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen. Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required. Experience in human clinical trials, grant writing, data collection and manuscript preparation is strongly preferred; scientific publication record desired.
