Functions as a Special Education Teacher in Nisonger Center’s Early Childhood Program providing special education to children with disabilities within inclusive classroom environments in close collaboration with general education teachers, classroom support team, and therapy staff; serves as a child advocate to ensure social, emotional, physical and educational needs of children are met based on Nisonger Center's philosophy, curriculum policies and state licensing rules.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. Experience working with children with developmental disabilities required; current first aid, communicable diseases, & child abuse recognition certifications required or acquired within 120 days of hire; current immunizations required.
