Research Opportunity: Seek highly motivated individual for the position of Research Senior Technician, who is passionate about supporting our mission to conduct research related to lung cancer prevention and survivorship, under the direction of TORCH Principal Investigator, Dr. Marisa Bittoni.

Job duties:
- Research Activities:
- Assist with grant writing and preparation of all aspects of grants, including literature reviews, table/figure preparation, budgets and other grant tasks, as designated by the PI.
- Prepares research reports and assists with preparation of publications, manuscripts, articles, posters, and abstracts, including scientific literature reviews and devising tables, figures and/or graphs.
- Assist with tasks related to research studies - write protocols, assist with study preparation and IRB submission, and assist with other study activities, as designated by the PI.
- Review/extract data from medical records and input data as needed for research and registry studies.
- Data Analysis:
- Assist with tasks related to research studies - write protocols, assist with study preparation and IRB submission, and assist with other study activities, as designated by the PI.
- Summarize data for inclusion in grant proposals and manuscripts, assist with writing and figure generation for grants and manuscripts.
Compliance and regulatory training:
- There are regulatory and compliance-based training courses that are required before any work may begin. They can be computer-based (CBLs) or in-person training.
Minimum Required Qualifications - Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in epidemiology, health science, or similar field is required. Successful completion of a background check is required; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical or a drug screen.
- Ability to work independently and work well within a team environment.
Desired Experience (Preferred but not Required):
- Self-motivated and good time management skills
- Strong writing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (excel, word etc.), spreadsheets and statistical software packages
- Strong organizational skills
- Previous experience in research is strongly preferred.
