The Student Assistant will assist and support clinical research staff with study related duties to promote recruitment and retention of study participants. Student Assistant will complete CITI Training and other Computer Based Learning Trainings to gain access to necessary study platforms such as Institutional Review Board (IRB), Integrated Healthcare Information System (IHIS), RedCap, etc. They will assist with screening of eligible participants, conduct phone screenings, schedule visits and conduct follow-up contacts with participants. Student Assistant will also help research staff with study visit related tasks as needed such as attending visits to assist with biometric data collection and/or survey administration.
Responsibilities are basic and routine in nature. This may include performing administrative duties in an office, assisting in a research laboratory, aid faculty/staff in supporting academic programs or patient care. Duties will be clear and direct. The Student Assistant will require excellent customer service and strong organizational skills and will represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values.
